VFW hosted Job Fairs
At different times throughout the year, job fairs are hosted by local VFW posts with the support of the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve and the State of Michigan's Veterans' Services Division.  These job fairs help bring together veterans who are looking for employment/career opportunities with employers that are looking for great talent at virtually no cost to them.  Job fair listings are maintained on the VFW - Department of Michigan webpage, please click the title link to get more information on current and upcoming job fairs.

Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Workshops

Please note:  THESE ARE NOT JOB FAIRS.

These workshops are for military members (and their spouses) who have retired or separated from the military within the past year.  Other veterans may attend if space is available.  The workshop agenda includes: military to civilian transition, veteran benefits, résumé writing, applying for state and federal jobs, and interviewing exercises.  For more information, contact Ron Ross, TAP Coordinator, at (248) 276-5991 or rossr@michigan.gov.
