Talent Connect Pledge
In a world driven by technology and information, Michigan’s people are our state’s most valuable resource. But even as Michigan struggles with high unemployment, thousands of positions remain unfilled due to a mismatch between employer needs and available talent. This mismatch is holding us all back.
We support the Governor’s goal of bridging that disconnect, and pledge to participate in the Pure Michigan Talent Connect program by:
- Sharing information with the state about our organization’s talent needs, both in the short-term and in the long-term.
- Using the Pure Michigan Talent Connect portal to identify and connect with Michigan residents who have the skills and knowledge needed to help our organization thrive.
- Encouraging employees and staff to use the website to learn more about education and training opportunities that will position them, and our organization, to succeed.
We agree to participate in the Talent Connect program because we believe better matching available talent to job openings will create a stronger economy and a stronger Michigan.
