State of Michigan Veteran Employment Specialists are located in most Michigan Works! offices. These employment services professionals are available to assist veterans and eligible spouses in need of additional help in securing appropriate employment.

Region 1 Upper Peninsula:
Gogebic, Ontonagon, Houghton, Keweenaw, Iron, Baraga, Marquette, Dickinson, Menominee, Alger, Delta, Schoolcraft, Luce, Chippewa, and Mackinac counties
Region 2 Northwest:
Emmet, Charlevoix, Antrim, Leelanau, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Manistee, Wexford, and Missaukee counties
Region 3 Northeast:
Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Otsego, Montmorency, Alpena, Crawford, Oscoda, Alcona, Roscommon, Ogemaw, and Iosco counties
Region 4 West Central:
Mason, Lake, Osceola, Mecosta, Montcalm, Newaygo, Kent, Ionia, Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, and Barry counties
Region 5 Bay / Thumb:
Clare, Gladwin, Arenac, Isabella, Midland, Bay, Gratiot, Saginaw, Tuscola, Huron, and Sanilac counties
Region 6 Southwest:
Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph, and Branch counties
Region 7 Central:
